During the last two semesters, she worked parallel to her master&#8217;s thesis at a school as an integration assistant and accompanied a boy with developmental delays. In addition, she also worked with the boy at home. Linda acquired her first knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis during her studies. <!--more--> After completing a theory course at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and successfully completing both theory and practice classes, Linda received her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). After obtaining the certificate, Linda was able to actively accompany various clients as an RBT using the ABA principles and thus gain her first experiences. After completing her master&#8217;s degree, Linda decided to volunteer in Africa for a few months. In the summer of 2021, Linda spent three months as a volunteer in Accra, Ghana, at various autism centers, special education schools and social projects, where she accompanied many children, teenagers and adults with various diagnoses. She introduced teachers and educators to the ABA principles and taught them how to implement them. With this experience, Linda joined the Knospe-ABA team in November 2021 and underwent a very intensive training phase nationwide, getting to work with over 50 different kids with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays. During this training period, Linda was familiarized with the classification instruments such as ABLLS, AFLS and VB-MAPP and took part in ABA\/VB workshops.
